In Thursday's league challenge, the host East Rochester Bombers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles.

The Bombers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Blue Panthers come into the Section 5 Wayne County challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Gananda Central was beaten by North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Clyde-Savannah will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
