In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Elcho Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Phelps Knights.

The Hornets (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 15-9 record. In their last challenge, Prentice lost by Newman (Wausau, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI) in a Northern Lakes challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Phelps will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rosholt (Rosholt, WI).
