The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes volleyball squad (Missouri City, TX), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX)

With the win, Fort Bend Austin improves its record to 22-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to encounter the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Broncos go into the battle with a record of 6-22. Fort Bend Bush lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)

The Hurricanes now own a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridge Point for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, October 1. Fort Bend Hightower will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 25-10.
