The Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) volleyball knocked off the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 30. Tunstall will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, George Washington drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA) to clash with the Phoenix in a Piedmont bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 5-5.
