In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles.

The Gryphons (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA). The Crusaders come into the Commonwealth Upper challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Lowell Catholic was beaten by Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Boston Collegiate Hurricanes (Boston, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Mystic Valley Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Community Charter School of Cambridge (Cambridge, MA).
