The Haughton Buccaneers prevailed the visiting Loyola College Prep Flyers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. Haughton will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Wossman (Monroe, LA).

The Flyers (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Cavaliers go into the Division IV District 1 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Calvary Baptist Academy achieved victory over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
