With the win, Pine Grove improves its record to 17-14 on the season. The Panthers travel to Walnut (Walnut, MS) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 21-4. Walnut won 3-0 in their recent league battle against New Site (New Site, MS)

The Cardinals now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a Class 1A Region 2 battle on Monday, September 30.
