Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), observed Kettle Run's volleyball team top Warren County by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars enter the Northwestern contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Manassas Park was knocked off by Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Warren County will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Colonels enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Fauquier (Warrenton, VA).
