Georgia High School Volleyball - LaGrange Sandy Creek

Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Sandy Creek improves its record to 14-23 on the season. The Patriots travel to Troup County (LaGrange, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a 3A Area 2 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-14. Troup County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Harris County (Hamilton, GA)

The Grangers now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a 3A Area 2 test on Monday, September 30. LaGrange will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Lions record now stands at 22-6.
