North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lawrence Academy over Ridgecroft

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the host Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), observed Lawrence Academy's volleyball team top Ridgecroft by a count of 3-0.

The Warriors (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Kerr-Vance Academy notched a victory over Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams battle the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel Independent contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Ridgecroft will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Colts enter the contest with a 10-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC).
