Louisiana School for the Deaf will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Flames enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA).

The Gryphons (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Grand Isle (Grand Isle, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Grand Isle was dropped by V.B. Glencoe Charter (Franklin, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
