In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lynden Christian Lyncs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Nooksack Valley Pioneers.

The Lyncs (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Anacortes beat Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Nooksack Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Storm enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA).
