In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Marshall County Marshals volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Murray Tigers.

The Marshals (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle County was beaten by Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Murray will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
