Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) and the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), observed Middlesex's volleyball team top West Point by a count of 3-0.

The Chargers (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Northumberland notched a victory over Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Pointers battle the Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA) in a Tidewater contest, on Tuesday, October 1. West Point will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record.
