St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, St. Rose improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Purple Roses travel to Keyport (Keyport, NJ) to face the Raiders in a Shore B - North test on Monday, September 30. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-5. Keyport lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ)

The Garnet Gulls now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rumson-Fair Haven for a Shore B - North test on Friday, September 27. Point Pleasant Beach will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
