In Thursday's league match, the Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Winged Lions battle the Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT) in a 2A Region 17 match, on Tuesday, October 1. Rowland Hall will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 16-4 record after their 3-0 league win over American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT).

The Ravens (5-10) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph (Ogden, UT). The Jayhawks enter the 2A Region 17 match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, St. Joseph notched a victory over American Heritage (American Fork, UT), 3-0, in a league match.
