In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Salem Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wesson Cobras.
The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, West Marion beat Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cobras meet the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 challenge, on Monday, September 30. Wesson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record.
