In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Whitley County Colonels volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets.

The Colonels (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County was beaten by Danville (Danville, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Williamsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY).
