Iowa High School Football - North Polk prevails Ballard

September 26, 2025: Alleman, IA 50007

In Friday's league match, the host North Polk Comets football squad scored a good 22-3 triumph over the Ballard Bombers.

The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays come into the 4A District 5 battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Bondurant-Farrar was dropped by Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 55-6, in a league battle.

The Bombers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Des Moines North for a 4A District 5 battle on Friday, October 3. Ballard will play a Polar Bears team coming off a 53-0 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-3.
