Virginia High School Football - Broad Run thwarted by Heritage

September 26, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20147

Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) fans were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), 27-19 in a league match.

The Pride (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Ram come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Riverside went down by Freedom (South Riding, VA), 51-11, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Spartans meet the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) in a Catoctin challenge, on Friday, October 3. Broad Run will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Captains go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 42-14 non-league win over Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA).
