Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their football team overwhelm the visiting Minneapolis South/Roosevelt Tigers (Minneapolis, MN), 62-18 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sting face the Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN) in a Skyway - Silver challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Spectrum will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Tommies enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 63-0 non-league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN).

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record.
