Wayne Warriors (Huber Heights, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 45-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Wayne improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Warriors host Springfield (Springfield, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Greater Western Ohio battle on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Springfield won 14-7 in their recent league battle against Springboro (Springboro, OH)

The Thunderbolts now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont for a Greater Western Ohio test on Friday, October 3. Northmont will meet a Firebirds squad coming off a 38-3 league win over Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-4.
