The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) and the visiting Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), witnessed Orem's football squad knock off Timpview by a tally of 22-9.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Vikings come into the 5A Region 7 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Pleasant Grove ran past Wasatch (Heber City, UT), 21-20, in a league challenge.

The Thunderbirds (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Springville (Springville, UT). The Red Devils enter the 5A Region 7 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Springville ran past Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT), 28-0, in a league challenge.
