Ohio High School Football - Piqua thwarted by Xenia

Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH), 42-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Xenia improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Buccaneers host Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Miami Valley League battle on Friday, October 3. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 6-0. Tippecanoe won 62-0 in their recent league match against Sidney (Sidney, OH)

Coming up next, the Indians meet the Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH) in a Miami Valley League match, on Friday, October 3. Piqua will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Skyhawks come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 51-8 league win over West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH).
