The Spring Creek Spartans edged the host Fernley Vaqueros soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern - East game, on Saturday, September 27. Spring Creek will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Greenwave enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 1-1 league Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
The Vaqueros (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the 3A Northern - East contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Elko held off Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 1-0, in a league contest.
