In Friday's non-league outing, the host Frederick Douglass Broncos soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Great Crossing Warhawks.
The Broncos (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars enter the non-league test with a 9-4 record.
The Warhawks now sport a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort Christian Academy for a District 41 test on Monday, September 29. Great Crossing will clash with a Royals team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Royals record now stands at 6-8.
