In Friday's league outing, the host West Field Longhorns soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Fremont Silverwolves.

The Longhorns (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Clearfield (Clearfield, UT). The Falcons go into the 5A Region 5 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Clearfield got by Roy (Roy, UT), 8-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Silverwolves clash with the Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT) in a 5A Region 5 test, on Tuesday, September 30. Fremont will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Bees come into the test with a 10-5 record after their 8-1 league win over Northridge (Layton, UT).
