In Friday's league outing, the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.

The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves go into the Central Tar Heel 1A outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Woods Charter by Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 2-1, in a league test.

The Aviators now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Monday, September 29. Ascend Leadership will clash with a Knights team coming off a 6-3 league loss to River Mill (Graham, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
