Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Ephrata moves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Cocalico (Denver, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 11-2. Cocalico won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Manheim Central (Manheim, PA)

The Spartans now sport a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conestoga Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 30. Garden Spot will clash with a Buckskins team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA). The Buckskins record now stands at 10-3.
