Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies (Andover, MA), 4-2 in a non-league outing.

The Lancers (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Hawks enter the Catholic outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Xaverian Brothers by Brockton (Brockton, MA), 5-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Reggies confront the Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams (Billerica, MA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 30. Greater Lawrence Tech will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Excel Academy Charter (East Boston, MA).
