The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets enter the Wyoming Valley 1 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Crestwood by Dallas (Dallas, PA), 4-1, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 match, on Friday, October 3. Pittston will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA).
