Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (17-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots enter the 605 challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Oxford Academy was beaten by Mayfair (Lakewood, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA) in a 605 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Artesia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cerritos (Cerritos, CA).
