The Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Keene Chargers (Keene, TX), 3-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Grandview for a 3A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, September 30. Blooming Grove will clash with a Zebras squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Maypearl (Maypearl, TX). The Zebras record now stands at 22-9.

The Chargers (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region III District 18 match with a 23-6 record. In their last match, Scurry-Rosser notched a victory over Palmer (Palmer, TX), 3-2, in a league match.
