Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV) boosters were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV). The Pirates go into the 3A Southern test with a 7-18 record. In their last test, Moapa Valley went down by Centennial (Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now sport a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Virgin Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Valley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.
