Texas High School Volleyball - Burleson tips Centennial

The Burleson Elks volleyball squad scored 3 points and limited the visiting Centennial Spartans to 2 in the Elks league victory on Friday.

Next up, the Elks confront the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, September 30. Burleson will attempt to advance on its 13-14 season record. The Owls enter the game with a 23-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Everman (Everman, TX).

The Spartans (24-11) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Wolves enter the 5A Region I District 8 game with a 12-18 record. In their last game, Mansfield Timberview held off Seguin (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a league bout.
