California High School Volleyball - Torrey Pines over Carlsbad

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), observed Torrey Pines's volleyball team top Carlsbad by a count of 3-0.

The Falcons (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Knights go into the Coastal (NCC) battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, San Marcos dropped by Westview (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Lancers now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Dieguito Academy for a Coastal (NCC) battle on Wednesday, October 1. Carlsbad will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Westview (San Diego, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-14.
