The Sunnyside Blue Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cholla Chargers to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now have a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a 6A - South outing on Tuesday, September 30. Sunnyside will play a Badgers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Village (Colorado Springs, CO). The Badgers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Cholla drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Douglas (Douglas, AZ) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A - Gila game on Monday, September 29. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 5-3. Douglas won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ)
