Fans at Friday's league contest between the Community Christian Warriors (Paducah, KY) and the host St. Mary Vikings (Paducah, KY), observed Community Christian's volleyball team top St. Mary by a count of 3-1.

The Warriors (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado enter the District 2 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Paducah Tilghman was knocked off by St. Mary (Paducah, KY), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) in a District 2 battle, on Monday, September 29. St. Mary will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Blue Tornado go into the battle with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY).
