Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Contra Costa Christian Cougars (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Making Waves Academy improves its record to 3-12 on the season. The Marlins travel to Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA) to meet the Warriors in a Bay Counties - General challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Fremont Christian lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA)
