In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Daingerfield Tigers.

The Bulldogs (11-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region II District 13 challenge with a 9-20 record. In their last challenge, Hughes Springs was topped by Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Daingerfield drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to New Diana (Diana, TX) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 16-16. New Diana won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Harmony (Big Sandy, TX)
