In Friday's non-league challenge, the host De Anza Dons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ygnacio Valley Wolves.

The Dons (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Gauchos come into the Tri-County - Stone challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, El Cerrito was beaten by Hercules (Hercules, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves face the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) in a Diablo-Valley test, on Tuesday, September 30. Ygnacio Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
