The Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league match.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 match, on Tuesday, September 30. Fairfield will attempt to move on its 23-6 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 22-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX).

The Elks (19-11) will now prepare for their match against Teague (Teague, TX). The Lions enter the 3A Region III District 20 match with a 14-6 record. In their last match, Teague notched a victory over Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX), 3-2, in a league match.
