The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets were victorious over the host Gary Bobcats volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to Beckville for a 2A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, September 30. Elysian Fields will play a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Garrison (Garrison, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Gary drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, September 30.
