Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Falcons (23-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Lions come into the 4A Region III District 19 challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Livingston edged Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (Hamshire, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 22-13 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 7-20 record after their 3-0 league win over Shepherd (Shepherd, TX).
