The Hawkins Hawks volleyball team (Hawkins, TX), was tipped 3-2 in Friday's league contest with the host Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX)

The Brahmas (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region III District 18 contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Big Sandy was tipped by Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Hawkins will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 4-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).
