In Friday's league bout, the Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

The Owls now possess a 18-11 record. They play next when they host Crystal City for a 3A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, September 30. Hondo will battle a Javelinas squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 19-6.
