In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Mansfield Timberview Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Seguin Cougars.
The Wolves (12-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region I District 8 challenge with a 24-11 record. In their last challenge, Centennial lost by Burleson (Burleson, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars play the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Seguin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 11-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX).
