Illinois High School Volleyball - Thornwood Marian Catholic

In Friday's non-league match, the Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), by a final score of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 26. Marian Catholic will attempt to better on its 11-12 season record. The Boilermakers come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).

The Thunderbirds (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors come into the non-league bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Thornton Fractional North fell by Argo (Summit, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.
