The McKinney North Bulldogs prevailed the visiting Walnut Grove Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 game, on Tuesday, September 30. McKinney North will attempt to better on its 25-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 17-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX).

With the loss, Walnut Grove drops to 24-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Anna (Anna, TX) to clash with the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 18-17. Anna won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Sherman (Sherman, TX)
