In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Northshore Panthers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Vandebilt Catholic edged Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Redstickers face the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. St. Joseph's Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA).
